AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 43, SECTION 43-1
TO THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY
THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN, as follows:
Section 1. That Chapter 43, Section 43-~. of the Butte
County Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
CHAPTER 43
PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT FEES
Section 43-1 Fees Charged for services.
The Butte County Public Health Department is authorized to
charge, in addition to any other fees required by the County of
Butte or the State of California, the following fees for services
they provide:

Refund Policy:
a. Refunds may be made for any fee erroneously paid or
collected.
b. refunds may be made for services not rendered. All
refunds shall be less departmental costs (e.g., filing
fee ($10.00), plan review, inspection).
c. No refunds shall be made fo r renewal fees or annual
operational permits.
d. Claims far refunds shall be written application, on farms,
provided by Butte County, o f the person who paid the
fee and must be made within 1 year of date paid.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared
to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days
after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
