under and pursuant ta Chapter 24 Section 29 of the Butte County Code of .sa.id
County, DO ORDATN, as ~ollows:
SECTION l.. Section S of Ordinance 2985 is amended to read as
follows:
The hereinafter described area situate in ~~e County of B~tte, State
of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an A-20 (Agricultural - 20 acre
parceis) District, and such area shall be subject. to #he restrict~ons and restricted
uses and regulations pwrsuant to Butte Couniy Code Sec~ion 24-78.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte
County, Durha~n, more particularly describ~d as fdllows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly right-of-way af Blossom Lane,
said poi.nt also being the easterly right-of-way af the Midway, said
point also being the easterly right-of way line of the Southern Paci Fic
Railroad; thence northerly along sa.id easterly subdivision easte~rly
right-of-way of the Midway to its intersect~on with the easterly line
o£ the A. F. 3ones Subdivi~sion as shown in Book 7 Map of Record
at Page 53 on fiIe in the Recorders O£~i.ce in the County of Butte;
thence southerl~r along said easterly subdiv~sion line to its intersectian
~w~itk~ the ~W centerline of Sect~ion 18,1s21N, RZE, MDB&M; thence

County, Duzham, more particulazly described as follows:
Blocks .. 20, 21, and 22 of the "Map of the Tawn of Nelson" as
recorded on February 27, 1878: in Book 1 of Maps at Page 58, on
file zn the Offiice of the Recarder of the County of Butte.
SECTION 3. Sect~on 8A is added to Ordinance 2985 to read as
follows:
The hereznafter described area situate in the County of Butte, State
of Cali.foznia, shall be and it is hereby zaned as an C-2 {General. Commerci.al) ~
District, and such area shall be subject to the r~strictions and restricted uses and
regulations pursuant to Butte County Cade Sectian ?A~-~.05.
Said area so zaned being located in the u~incorpoxated area of Butte
Coun~+, Durham, Fnore partic~ilarly described as follows:
Lots 1, 2, & 3 as shown on that certain map titied "Monte Vista.
Viliage" recorded in Book 24 0~ Maps at Page 39 on file zn ~the

be in fuil force and effect fronl and after . thu'ty (30) days after the date of its ._
passage, and before tk~e expirataon of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this
Ordina.nce shall be published once with the names o~ th~ members of the Board
of Supervisors voting ~or and against it i,n the ~Chi co= E/R -~, a newspaper
publisbed in the County of Butte, State of California.
