REFERENCE: ~ Appointed and elected officials shown in Re ference A and e of this section, who are
members of the Publi~ EmpEoyees' Retirement System, may elect to receive County payment
of the membe N s share of the retirement cos t or in lieu an additional percentage
applied to the ir biueekly wage. The additi onal Nage, when combined uith the related
wage overhead cost, shall nat exceed the amount of the Co~nty retirement contribution
to the member's share of the retirement cas t.
NOTE: All Salary Amou nts for Referenc es A and B are Step 5 of the Satary Range, except for Flat Rates as noted.

This ordinance sha~l take effect immediately pursuant ta
Section 25123(f) of the Government Code of the State of
Cal~fornia; and be~o~e e~iration of fifteen (~5) days after
its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County
of Butte, State af Cali~ornia.
