AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDYNANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KN~WN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE~~.
The Board of Supervisors of the County ot Butte, State of
California, Do ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 33 of Ordinance No. 2979 of th~
County of Butte entitled SHERIFF-CORONER - CORRECTTONS 360-003 is
hereby annended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions C~assification Title
4 SEnior Correctional Office~
35 Correctional Officer
and adding th~reto the fallowing:
Positions Classif~aation Title
5 Senior Correctiona~ Officer
34 Correctional Otficer
thereby leav~ng the total. unchanged.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to 5e~tion
25123 (f) of the Government Code af the State of California; and
before ~xpiratian of f ifteen (15) days after its passage, it sha~l be~
pub~ished in a newspaper in the County of Butte, 5tate of Califo~nia.
