The Board of Supervisars of the Caunty o~ Butte, S~ate of Ca~.iforn~.a,
does o~dain as ~allows:
Section I: Said l3oard fznds and determa.nes that upon the basis o~ an
engineering and traffic survey, the Butte Coun~y highway hereinafter
described came withi.n the pxovisions of Sectiian 22355 of the Vehicle Code o~'
~he State o~ California, in ~hat a speed ~ima.t of fifty-five (55) miles per
hour ~.s more ~han is ~easonable and sa~'e on said highways and determinES and
declares a prima ~acie speed 1ima.t on such Butte County ha.ghway as ~ollows:
That a prima ~acie speed limit of thir~y-five (35) miles per hour
is hereby determined, declared and established and '~hat SPEED LIM~T 35 MILES
signs be placed at appropriate locations on the hereinafter--described County
highway ~o wit.

hereby directed to erect appropriate signs giving notice o~ the prima facie
speed limits establ~.shed herein with~.n thirty (3~) days of th~ adoption
thereof.

This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30} days after its passage,
and before th~ expiration o~ ~ifteen (I5) days after its passabe, it shall be
published with th~ names of the members voting for and against th~ same, once
in a loca~ newspaper published in ~he County o~ Butte, S~ate of Cali~ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County o~ Bu~te,
State af Californxa, at the regular meet~ng thereof on the. 8th
day of June , I993, by the followinp vote:
