prov'isions of Section. 25538.5 af the Gove~z~.mezzt Code to sell or conv'ey
an.y and a11 real property seized and forfeited pursuant ~o Chapter 8
(commencing raith Sectian 3.3.~70) o~ Division 10 of the Heal~h and
Safety Code or Chapter 3(commencing urith Sect~.on 18b? of Part 1,
Ti~le 7 of the Pena~. Cod~.
Sectio~. 2. Manner of Sales Conduc~ed by ~uch Desiq_nated
Officer.
Ura.Iess atherwise ordered by the Supe~'io~ Cour~ under ~he
pravisions of ~ec~ion. ~.~.489 of the Health and Safety Code, a~.l sales
or conveyances of r~al property by such designated officer shall b~
canducted in accordanCe wi~h the provisions o~ Sec~a.on 25538.5 of the
Government Code af~er p~.bl~.ca~ion pursuant to Sec~.ion 6063 of the
Government Code of a r~.oti~e of in~entian ~o sell such seized and

Section 3. Report of Dispos~tion.
Upon the sa].e of real proper~y pursuant to th~ provisians of
Governmen~ Code Sectian 25538.5r the l~istrict Attorney shall issue a
repor~ concerning the ~acts of ~ach sale. ~u.ch ~eport will be
forwa~ded ~o the Auditor for usa in effecting dis~ribut~on of ~.he
proceeds of the sale of the rea~ praperty pursuant to the terms of
Health an.d Sa~e~y Code Section 11489 and of th~ judgment a~ forfei-
~ure. A copy of such repart sha17. be provided to the Board a~
Supervisors and, upon request, to any other in~.ex~es~ed gavernmental
agency.
Sectio~. 4. Severability.
If any par~ of •this ordinan.ee sha~.~. be held void by a court a~
eoxnpetent jurisdiction, such part sha~.1 be deemed severab7.e, and the
invalidi~y ~hereo~ shal~ not a~fec~ ~he re~aining par~s of this
ordinance.

SeC~ion 4. Ef~ective Date and Pub~ica'tion.
This o~d~.nance shall be and it is hereby declared to be ~n
~ull force and effect from and af~er thirty (30) days a~ter the date
of its passage, and before the expiration of ~ifteen (15} days after
its passage, this ordinanc~ shall be published once wi~h the names of
~the members of the Board of Supervisors voting far a~zd agains~ it in
the Orovi~.~.e Mercury Regis~er, a nei,vspaper published in the Caurr.ty of
Butte, State of California.
