AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE RELATIVE
TO BOARD OF SUPERVTSORS COMPENSATION
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. that Section No. 2 of Ordinance No. 2047 is hereby
amended to read as foll.ows:
Section 2 the salary of inembers of the Board of Supervisors
is $10,934 per year, which sal.ary shall be paid bi-weekly at the
time and in the same manner that salaries are paid for other
county employees.
In additi.on to the aforementianed compensation, the Board
of Supervisors shall be eligible for the same fringe bene~its
estab~ished by the Board for regular e~playees, includi.ng
participation in the Public Employees' Retirament System and the
employees' health and supplemental insurance plans as pre-exist
and as hereinafter amended. All mandatory empZayment-related
expenses, i.e., Social Security and Worker's Compensation
Insurance, shal~. be provided by the County.
Section 2 this ordinance sha11 take effect 64 days after
the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fi~teen
(15) days after its passage, i.t shall be publ.ished with the
names af the members of the Board af Superv~sors voting for and
against the same in the OroviJ.le Mercur , a newspaper published
in the County of Butte, State of Cali~ornia.

County of Butte, State of California, an the 27th day a£
