AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 37 of Ordinance No. 2979
of the County of Butte entitled PROBATION DEPARTMENT 430-001
is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
18 Probation Officer II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1g Probation Officer IT, I
thereby changing the total from 41 to 42.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Sectio.
25123 (f) of the Government Code of the State of California; and
before expiration of fifteen {15) days after its passage, it shall b
published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of California
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 25th day of January , 199'+ , by the
fallowing vote:
