AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 60 (B) of Ordinance No. 2979
of the County of Butte entitled WELFARE - G.A.T.N. Budget Unit
570-002 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
20 Social Worker III, II
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
19 Social Worker III, II
thereby changing the total from 42 to 41.
Section 2 that Section No. 60 (A) of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled WELFARE - ADMINISTRATION Budget Unit
570-001 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
5 Legal Typist Clerk
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
6 Legal Typist Clerk
thereby changing the total from 106 to 107.
Section 3 that Section No. 60 (D} of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled WELFARE - SERVICES Budget Unit 570-004 is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
7 Social Worker Supervisor II
9 Social Worker IV, III
47 Social Worker III, II
and adding thereto the following:
Position Classification Title
8 Social Worker Supervisor II
10 Social Worker IV, III
54 Social Worker III, II
thereby changing the total from 65 to 74.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section
25123 {f) of the Government Code of the State of California; and
before expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be
published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 8th day of February , 1994 , by the
following vote:
