AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 3D of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte for Classified positions in the Management,
Confidential and Supervisory Unit Classifications is hereby amended
by deleting therefrom the following:
Salary Class
Ran a Step 1 Step 5 Code Classification Title
1239 $2,755 $3,349 2845 Assistant County Clerk/
Assistant to the Superior Court
and adding thereto:
Salary Class
Rance Stems 1 Step 5 Code Classification Title
1148 $1,767 $2,148 2860 Court Staff Services Assistant
Section 2 that Section No. 23 of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled County Clerk Department Budget Unit 311-001
is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Assistant County Clerk/Assistant Clerk
to the Superior Court
and adding thereto the following:
Position Classification Title
1 Court Staff Services Assistant
Thereby leaving the total unchanged.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section
25123 (f) of the Government Code of the State of California; and
before expiration. of. fifteen {15) days after its passage, it sha11 be
published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 15th day of F'ebruarv , 1994 r by the
