AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 3, Reference D, of Ordinance No. 297
of the County of Butte entitled SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS
-- MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL, AND SUPERVISORY UNIT CLASSIFICATTONS is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Salary Class
Ran a Stets 1 St~5 Code Classification Title ,
1312 $3933 $4780 6110 Manager-Mental Health
Services & Program Chief
and adding thereto the following:
Salary Class
Rancre step 1 Step 5 Code Classification Title

Section 2 that Section No. 56 of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled MENTAL HEALTH - General Services Budget Uni
541-001 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Manager_Mental Health Services & Program Chief
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
2 Assistant Mental Health Director
thereby changing the total from 79 3/4 to 80 3/4.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Sectio
25123 (f) of the Government Code of the State of California; and
before expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage; it shall b
published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of California
