AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2979 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE. KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
Section ~. that Section No. 13 of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled ASSESSOR Budget Unit 080-001 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Computer Technician
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Staff Services Systems Specialist
thereby leaving the total unchanged.
Section 2 that Section No. 32 of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled SHERIFF-CORONER - OPERATIONS Budget Unit
360-002 is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
10 Deputy Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff Trainee
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
15 Deputy Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff Trainee
thereby changing the total from 72 to 77.
Section 3 that Section No. 37 of Ordinance No. 2979 of the
County of Butte entitled PROBATION Budget Unit 430--001 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
20 Probation Officer IT, I

and adding thereto the following:

thereby changing, the total from 43 to 44.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section
25123 (f} of the Government Code of the State of California; and
before expiration of fifteen {15} days after its passage, it
shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte this 11th day of October 1994, by the following vote:
