4 AN ORDINANGE AMENDING SECTION 2-71 OF OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
5 REGARDING PLANNING COMMISSi0NER5 COMPENSATION AND TRAVEL EXPENSES
6 The Board of Supervisors of the County o~ Butte ordains as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 2--71 of the Butte County Code is amended to read as
8 follows:
9 "Compensation and travel expenses.
10 Each planning commissioner sha1.1 receive reasonable trave3.
11 expenses for each meeti.ng attended as prescribed by resalut~on
12 0~ the Board of Supervisors, and in addition thereto shall
1.3 received stipend in the amount af thirty da~lars ($30.d0) for
14 each regular o~ special meeting attended. Planning
15 commissioners shall also receive travel. expenses and stipend
15 for meetings attended while serving an committees or
17 cammissions whose makeup ~s designated, either by ordinance or
18 resolution, as including pl.anning cammissioners."
19 Section 2. Severabil.it .
20 Tf any part of this ordinance shal~. be held void by a court of
21. competent jurisdiction, s~ch pa~t shall be deemed severable, and the
22 invalidity thereaf shall not affect the re~aining parts of this ordinance.
23 Section 3. E~~ective Date and Publication. This Ordinance shall be and
24 it is hereby declared to be in fu11. force and ef~ect from and a~ter thirty
25 (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
26 fifteen (15) days afte~ its passage, this Ordinance shall be published
27 once with the names af the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for
28 and against it in the Chico En~eerp~ise Record , a newspaper
