is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
Appointed and e~ected o~F'icials shown in Reference A, B, E, and G of this secrion,
who are members of the Public Employees' Retirement System, may elect to receive
County paym~nt of th~ member's share of the retirement cost or in lieu an additionai
percentage applied to their biweekly wage. The additional wage, when combined
with the related wage overhead cost, sha~l not exceed the amount of the Coun~y
retirement contribution to the member's share of retuement cost.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 (~} of the
Government Code of the State of Cali~'ornia; and before expiration of fifteen (~ 5) days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the Coun~y of Butte, State of
California.
