AN ORDINANCE A~~ING SECTION 3-72 ARTICLE VIII TO CHAPTER 3 OF THE
4 BUTTE COUNTY CODE ENTITLED "C~URT WORK REFERRAL FEES"

The Board of Supervisors af the County of Butte ordains as

follows:

Section 1. S~ction 3-72 Art~cle VIII is added to Chapter 3 of the
8
Butte County Cade to read as fol.lows: '

There is hereby establ.ished the following fee for th~
10
administratidn of Butte County's Court Wark Referral program under
11
Pena~. Coda Secti~n 1205.3:

(1) Worker's Co~npensation Insurance, Premium Fea $~~.00

This fee sha11. be based upon the o~~ender's ability to pay.

Inab.~lity to pay shal~ not preclude participatian in the Court Work
16
Referral program.

Section 2. Severability.

zf any paxt ~f this ordinance shall be held void by a court of
19
campetent je~risdictian, such part shall be deemed severable, and
20
the invalidity thereof sha1.1 not af£ect the remaining parts of this
21
ordinance.

Secti.on 3. This Ordinanc~ shall be and it is hereby dec7.ar~d to be
23
in full force and e~fect ~rom and after thirty (3Q) days after the
24
date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days
25
a~ter its passage, this Ordinance sha7.l be published once with the
26
names of the membe~s af the Board of Superviso~s voting for and
27
against it i~ the Chico Enterprise-Record , a newspaper

published in the Caunty of Butte, State of California.
