is hereby amended by adding thereto ~h~ followi.ng:
Appointed and elected official.s shown in Re~erence A, B, E, G, H, and I of tbis
section, who are membears of the Public Employees' Retirement System, may elect
to receive County paym~nt of the membex's share of ~he ret~xemen~ cost or in lieu an
additional percentage applied to their biweekly wage. The additional wage, when
combined with the related wag~ ovezhead cost, shall not exceed the amoun.t of the
County retirement contribution to the member's share of retirem~nt cost.
