AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3213 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO
ORDAIN as follows:
ection 1 that Section No. 30 of Ordinance No. 3213 of the County of Butte
entitled SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS Budget Unit 360-002 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classif cations
1 Deputy Sheriff (term position to end 6-30-96)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classifications
2 Deputy Sheriff (term positions to end 6-30-96)
1 Sheriff s Cierk II {term position to end 6-30-96)
thereb chan in the total from 72 to 74.

Section 2 that Section No. 31 of Ordinance No. 3213 of the County of Butte
entitled SHERIFF-CORONER -CORRECTIONS Budget Unit 360-003 is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
Positions Classifications
2 Correctional Officer (term positions to end 6-30-96}
thereby changing the total from $2 to $4.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 (f) of the
Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15} days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
this 26th day of March , 1996, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES : None
ABSENT: zone
NOT VOTING: None
