BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE. STATE OF CALIFORNIA
NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO
GRANT REAIa PROPERTY TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA
(Government Code Section 25365)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the hereinafter described real property is not
required for County use.
2. That the State of California desires to purchase said
real property to be used by the Division of Highways as a
State Highway.
3. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
at 11:00 a.m., on the 10th. day of April, 1961, or as soon
thereafter as the business of said Board will permit, in the
Board of Supervisors Room, in the Court House, fxonting on
Huntoon Street, Oroville, California, will consider the sale,
conveyance and grant of the hereinafter described real property
to the State of California, and any person interested therein
may appear at said time and place and be heard.
4. That a copy of this Resolution shall be published
in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the County
of Butte, for at least one wee]c prior to the time set herein
for consideration by the Board of said sale, grant and
conveyance.
5. That said real property is situate in the County of ':
Butte, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of that certain parcel of land described
as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the
Northerly line of Montgomery Street of the City of
Oroville, California, with the Westerly line of
Marysville Road, in said city, as established by
survey of B. S. McCoy, City Engineer of the said
City of Oroville, on November 24, 1906; thence S.
66° 22' W, producing the said Northerly line of said
Montgomery Street, 855.93 feet; thence at right

1 angles Southerly, S. 23° 38' E. 579 feet; thence
at right angles Easterly, N. 66° 22' E. 548.07
2 feet to the intersection with the said Westerly
line of said Marysville Road; thence Northerly
3 N. 4° 22' E. along said Westerly line of said
Marysville Road, 654.6 feet to the place of
4 beginning, and containing 9.33 acres, more or less.
5 EXCEPTING THEREFROM, that portion described as
beginning at a point on the Northerly line of Montgomery
6 Street, in the City of Oroville, Sttte County,
California, produced Westerly a distance of 350.0
7 feet from the intersection of the said Northerly
line of Montgomery Street, and the Westerly line of
8 Marysville Avenue; thence running along the production
of said Northerly line of Montgomery street, S.
9 66° 22' W. 505.93 feet to a point; thence S. 23°
38' E. 579.0 feet to a point; thence N. 66° 22' E.
10 548..07 feet to a point on the Westerly line of the
said Marysville Avenue; thence running N. 4° 22'
11 E., along said Westerly line a distance of 28.31
feet to a point; thence leaving said Westerly line
12 .and running S. 66° 22' W. 206,.47 feet to a point;
thence N. 8° 22` W. 574.27 feet to the point of

said point being distant 38.69 feet Northerly,
17 measured at right angles from the "M10" line at
Engineer's Station "M1,0"3036.49 of the Department

Gap, road IZI-But-2i-Ovl (The California State
19 done II Coordinates for said point of beginning are

line of said parcel S. 65° 04' 35" W. 350.00 feet;

53' 52" E. 238.12 feet; thence S. 78° 00' 27" E.

feet to the point of beginning, containing .80
23 acres, more or less.
24 The foregoing resolution was introduced by Supervisor
25 Fittman who moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor
26 Steitiegger , and said resolution was passed this. 27th day of
27 March, 1961, on roll call by the following vote:

Chairman Giles
