HomeMy WebLinkAbout33391 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 I 20 I 21 22 23 24 26 I 27 I 2$ Ordinance No. 3339 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING URGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 3319 ENTITLED "AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING USE OF A COUNTY HIGHWAY BY COMMERCIAL VEHICLES EXCEEDING A GROSS WEIGHT OF 14,000 POUNDS" The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as follows: Section 1. Findings. Oroville-Quincy Highway was damaged as a result of winter storms and was temporarily closed to all traffic between Mountain House and the Plumas County line. The road was re-opened on an emergency basis but could not sustain vehicles exceeding a gross weight of 14,000 pounds until satisfactory repair of the highway cauld be completed. Urgency Ordinance No. 3319 was adopted to prohibit commercial vehicles exceeding a gross weight of 14,000 pounds from using the highway pending such repair. Satisfactory repair of the highway has now been completed and the purpose of Urgency Ordinance No. 3319 has been fulfilled. Section 2. R~geal of Ordinance 3319. In view of the findings set :forth above, Urgency Ordinance No. 3319 is hereby repealed. i 'Section 3. Effective Date and Publication. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its passage. The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to publish this ... _.... ordinance before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage.
