3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3355 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO ORDAIN
7 as follows:
8 Section 1 that Section No. 2 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte entitled
9 SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS - GENERAL UNIT
10 CLASSIFICATIONS - REFERENCE: A is hereby amended by adding thereto the
11 following:
12 Salary Hourly Rate at Class Code Classification Title
13 Range StS ep 2 Step b
14 1122 $10.47 $12.73 5305 Investigative Assistant
15 Section 2 that Section No. 19 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte
16 entitled BUTTE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY-CRIMINAL Budget Unit 320-001
17 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
1 S Positions Classifications
19 1 Investigative Assistant
20 Thereby changing the total from 53 to 54.

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123{f) of
2 the Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen { 15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 9Ch day of December , 1997, by the following vote:
7 AYES: supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen and Chair Davis
