Ordinance Amending Section 3-60 Regarding Payment of Fees Chargeable By
The Butte County Agricultural Commissioner
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as follows:
', Section 1. Section 3-60 of the Butte County Code, entitled "Payment of
Fee Required," is amended to read as follows:
"The fees specified in this article for services of the
Agricultural Commissioner of the County of Butte shall be paid
before the services are provided or performed. In no event
will the service be provided or performed unless and until the
applicable fees have been paid in full.
The above shall not apply to those situations wherein the
Commissioner has entered into a written contract to provide
ServiCe5."

If any part of this ordinance shall be held void by a court of
competent jurisdiction, such part shall be deemed severable, and the
invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining parts of this ordinance.
Section 3 . Effegt,ive„„Date,,,, and,,,,„P,u,~.~.a.~~.t,~ on• This Ordinance shall be and
it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
(3 0 ) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its bassaae. this Ordinance shall be published
once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for
and against it in the Chico Enterprise Record , a newspaper
published in the County of Butte, State of California.
