AN ORDINANCE AivIENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33SS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS,.THE "SALARY,,,ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO ORDAIN
as follows:
ection 1 that Section No. 60 of Ordinance No. 33SS of the County of Butte entitled
LIBRARY Budget Unit 630-011 is hereby amended by deleting there from the fallowing:
Positions Cla~s_ifications
1 Office Assistant IIII
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classifications
2 Office Assistant IUI
thereby changing the total from 17 to 1 S.
Section 2 The changes made by this ordinance shall be and are hereby made
retroactive to December 23, 1997, and shall be operative as of that date.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 {fj of the
Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen {15) days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
13th day of .7anuary 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houma, J'osiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: none
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
