Ordinance No. 3393
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3355 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1: That Section No. 57 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of
Butte entitled WELFARE -SERVICES Budget Unit 570-004 is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classifications
3 Social Worker III (position numbers 42022, 42023, 42024)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classifications
3 Social Worker IV/III (position numbers 42022, 42023, 42024)
thereby changing the positions from three, non-flexibly staffed positions
(Social Worker III) to three flexibly staffed positions (Social Worker IV/III) with no
change in the total number of allocated positions.
Section 2: The changes made by this ordinance shall be and are hereby made
retroactive to September 27, 1997, and shall be operative as of that date.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of
the Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15) days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte this 27th day of January, 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: 5upervisozs Beeler, Dolan, Houx, .7osa.assen and Chair Davis
