AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3355 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY,.ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the Cotuaty of Butte, State of California, DO ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 53 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte entitled
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES Budget Unit 541-002 is
hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Mental Health Counselor II {term position to end 5-31-98}
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Mental Health Counselor II (term position to end 6-30-98)
1 Mental Health Counselor III, II, I (teem position to end 6-30-00)
thereby changing the total from 30 to 31.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of the
Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (1 S} days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
14th day of April , 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houma, Josiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: gone
