AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3355 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE. KNOWN AS THE "SALARY,ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO ORDAIN ~
as follows:
e n 1 that Section No. 24 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte entitled
SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS Budget Unit 360-002 is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
. 2 Sherif-I's Clerk II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 SherifF s Clerk II, I
1 Sheriff's Clerk III, II
thereby leaving the total of 73 unchanged.
Section 2 that Section No. 2$ of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte entitled
SHERIFF-CORONER -SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT UNIT Budget Unit 360-008 is
hereby amended by deleting tlerefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Sheriff's Clerk III
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Sheriffi s Clerk III, II
thereby leaving the total of 5 unchanged.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of the
Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15) days
after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by tlae Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
1Gth day of April 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Jasiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
