3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 33 5 5 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, ORDAINS
7 as follows:
8 Section 1 that Section No. 16 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte
9 entitled COUNTY COUNSEL Budget Unit 100-001 is hereby amended by deleting
10 therefrom the following:
lI Position Classification
12 1 Deputy County Counsel IV
I3 and adding thereto the following:
14 Position Classification
I S 1 Chief Deputy County Counsel or Deputy County Counsel IV
16 thereby leaving the total unchanged.

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 (f} ofthe
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of f fteen (15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
6 this 26th day of May ~, 1.998, by the following vote:
7 AYES: Supezvisors Beeler, Dolan, roux, 3osiassen and Chair Davis
