AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3355 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, ORDAINS as '',
follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 23 of Ordinance No. 3355 of the County of Butte entitled
SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES Budget Unit 360-001 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following:
Positions Classifications
1 Deputy Sheriff (term position to end 06-30-98)
and adding thereto the fallowing:
Positions Classil'~catians
1 Deputy Sheriff (term position to end 06-30-99)
thereby leaving the total unchanged.

This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 (f} of the
Governxnent Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15) days after its
passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
9th day of June , 1998, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, .Tosiassen and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
