AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORN[A, FROM R-4 AND S-R TO A C-~
(LIGHT COMMERCIAL} DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO SECTION 24-
25.40.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
under and pursuant to Section 24-25.40 of the Butte County Code of said County,
ORDAINS, as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the County of
Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as a C-1 {Light
Commercial} District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted
uses and regulations pursuant to Butte County Code Section 24-140 as further
modified by Resolution 98156 establishing a Conditional Zoning Agreement.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte
County, Chico, for that property shown an Exhibit 1 and more particularly described
as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the unincorporated area of the
County of Butte, State of California, being more particularly described
as follows:
All that portion of the westerly '/z of the Twelfth Subdivision of the
John Bidwell Rancho as the same is laid down numbered and
designated on the revised map thereof, filed in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, December 7,
1906 in Book 6 of Maps, at Page 11, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 11, being on the
Rasterl.y...line_.of..a._C.ounty ..road;_~thence. from said _point..of.beiginning,
along the W line of said Lot 11, and along the E line of said County
road, N 155.43 ft.; thence parallel to the S fine of said Lot 11, E,
647.50 ft.; thence parallel to the W line of said Lot 11, S 155.43 ft. to
a point on the S line of said Lot 11; thence along the S line of said Lot
11, W 647.50 ft. to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the west 20 feet thereof.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be

in full force and effect from and after thirty (30} days after the date of its passage,
be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors
and before the expiration of fifteen {I5}days after its passage, this Ordinance shall
voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper published in
the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 13th day of October, '1998, by the
fiollowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, and Chair Davis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
