HomeMy WebLinkAbout34691 STATE OF CALIFORNIA z ORDINANCE NO. 3469 3 a AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LINIITS ON s CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, ~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA ~ {VEHICLE CODE SECTION 22358) $ The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does ordain as h follows: io Section l : Said Board finds and determines that upon the basis of an enginec;ring and i 1 traffic survey, the Butte County highways hereinafter described come within the provisions of iz Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the Stag; of California, in that the speed limit of sixty-five 13 (65) miles per hour is more than is reasonable and safe on said highways and determines and 14 declares a prima facie speed limit on such Butte County highways as follows: i5 That a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five {35) miles per hour is hereby determined, i6 declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 35 signs be placed at appropriate locations on i~ the hereinafter-described County highways to wit: ~$ 1. LASSEN AVENUE, FROM ESPLANADE TO COHASSET ROAD. ~~~ 2. LOWER WYANDOTTE ROAD, OAK KNOLL WAY TO FORESTVIEW DRNE. 20 That a prima facie speed limit of forty (40) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared 2 ~ and established and that SPEED LIMIT 40 signs be placed at appropriate locations on the az hereinafter-described county highways to wit: z3 1. ESPLANADE, FROM CHICO CITY LIMIT TO MUD CREEK. za 2. LOWER WYANDOTTE ROAD, FROM OROVILLE CITY LIMITS TO OAK ................. KNOLL WAY. 25... zG That a prima facie speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour is hereby determined, z~ declared and established and that SPEED LIMIT 45 signs be placed at appropriate locations on zs the hereinafter-described county highways to wit: ~n Page 1 1 1. ORD FERRY ROAD, FROM DAYTON ROAD TO 1900 FEET WEST OF z DAYTON ROAD. ~ 2. GARNER LANE, FROM STATE ROUTE 99 TO KEEFER ROAD. a That a prima facie speed limit of fifty {50) miles per hour is hereby determined, declared s and established and that SPEED LIMIT 50 signs be placed at appropriate locations on the ~ hereinafter-described county highways to wit: ~ 1.
