HomeMy WebLinkAbout3495CORRECTED ORDINANCE NO. 3495 1 2 3 4 5 s 7' 8 9 10 Z1 12 13 I4 15 16 17 ~s 19 20 2I 22 23 24 25 26 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE REGARDING FEED STORES IN AGRICULTURAL ZONES. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Section 24-25.40 of the Butte County Code of said County, ORDAINS, as follows: SECTION 1. Section 24-90, entitled "A-5 through A-160 (Agricultural} zones", of the Butte County Code is hereby amended by amending subpart 3 of §C thereof, entitled "Uses requiring Use Permits", to read as follows: §24-90 C. 3. Kennels, feed stores, public or riding stables, and academies. SECTION 2. Section 24-305.148 of the Butte Coun#y Code is hereby added to read as follows: §24-305.14$. Feed Store - A retail establishment limited to the sale of hay, grain, and other food supplies fior farm and domestic animals. Animal maintenance products including medicines, vaccines and grooming supplies may also be sold provided that the sale of these products is ancillary to the safe of feed products. Outdoor storage of products other than feed or grain shall be prohibited SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30} days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen {15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors . voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise Record, Paradise Post, Oroville 1 2 3 4 5 s 7 8 9 10 Z1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2d i 21 22 23 24 2° 26 Mercury, and Gridley Herald newspapers published in the Caunty of Butte, State of California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on the 9th day of March, '1999, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Josiassen, and Davis NOES: Supervisor Houx and Chair Dolan ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None E DOCAN, CHAIR e County Board of Supervisors ATTEST: JOHN S.
