The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte ordains as
follows: Section 1. Section 2-11.5 is added to Article Z of Chapter
2 of the Butte County Code, to read as follows:
"Section 2-11.5. Assessor f_ee~ for Reproducincr Plat Maps. The
fees specified below are hereby determined necessary to recover
the direct costs of the Assessor in reproducing Assessor plat
maps. Upon receiving a request for a copy of such a map
together with payment of the applicable fee(s), the Assessor or
designee shall make the copy available as provided in the
California Public Records Act. The amount of the fees shall be
as follows:
(a) First copy of each plat map ............. $2.00
(b) Each additional copy of the same map.... $0.50."
Section 2_ Severability.
Tf any provision of this Ordinance or the application thereof to
any person or circumstances is for any reason held to be invalid by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed
severable, and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining
provisions or other applications of the Ordinance which can be given
effect without the invalid provision or application thereof.

Section 3. Effective Date and Publication. This Ordinance sha11 take
effect thirty (30) days after the date of its passage. The Clerk of
the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to publish this

passage. This Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of
the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it, in
the Chico Enterprise a newspaper of general circulation published in
the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, on the 13th day of April ,
1999, by the fo~.lowing vote:
