5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3531 OF THE
6 COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

8 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
9 ORDAIN as follows:
10 Section 1 that Section 69 of Ordinance No.3531 of the County of Butte entitled
11 "REFERENCE A: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" is hereby amended by
12 adding thereto the following:
13 Class Biweekly Monthly Annual
14 Classification Title Code Sala Sam Sala
15 Director-Water and Resource Conservation 0185 $2,742 $5,940 $71,280

1 Section 2 the salary enacted by this ordinance shall be paid retroactively to August
2 23, 1999.
3 Section 3 this ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f)
4 of the Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen { 15)
5 days after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State
6 of California.
7 The salary enacted by this ordinance shall be paid retroactively to August 23, 1999.
8 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
9 24th day of august , 1999, by the following vote:

11 AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
12 NOES: None
13 ABSENT: None
14 NOT VOTING: None
