5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3531 OF THE
6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

8 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DO
9 ORDAIN as follows:
10 Section 1 that Section No. 21 of Ordinance No. 3531 of the County of Butte
11 entitled 360-001 SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES is hereby changed by adding
12 thereto the following:
13 Positions Classification Title
14 1 Assistant Sheriff
15 thereby changing the total from S4 to 55.
16 Section 2 that Section No. 22 of Ordinance No. 3531 of the County of Butte
17 entitled 360-002 SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS is hereby changed by
1 S adding thereto the following:
19 Positions Classif cation Title
20 1 Assistant Sheriff
21 thereby changing the total from 76 to 77.
22 Section 3 that Section No. 23 of Ordinance No. 3531 of the County of Butte
23 entitled 360-003 SHERIFF-CORONER -CORRECTIONS is hereby changed by
24 adding thereto the following:
25 Positions Classification Title
26 1 Assistant Sheriff
27 thereby changing the total from 94 to 9S.

1 This ordinance shall take effect retroactively to August 24, 1999, pursuant to
2 Section 25123(f} of the Government Code of the State of California; and before
3 expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper
4 in the County of Butte, State of California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
6 this 28th day of September , 1999, by the following vote:
7 AYES: .supervisors Beeler, Houx, 3osiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
8 NOES: None
9 ABSENT: None
