5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.3 S S 2 OF THE
6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY_ORDINANCE"

8 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
9 ORDAIN as follows:
10 Section 1 that Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
11 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS -- REFERENCE
12 A: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" is deleted in its entirety.
13 Section 2 that Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3 SS2 of the County of Butte entitled
14 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS -REFERENCE
15 A: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" is added together with the following
16 classifications and salaries:

6 Section 4 that Section 68 of Ordinance No 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
7 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS -REFERENCE
8 B: ELECTED OFFICERS" is added together with the following classifications and
9 salaries:

21 Section 6 that Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte
22 entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS -
23 REFERENCE I: APPOINTED OFFICIALS REPORTING TO THE BUTTE
24 COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS" is added together with the following
25 classification and salary:

Section 7 This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30} days following passage.
The classif cations and salaries enacted by this ordinance shall be payable retroactively
1 to July 10, 1999.
2 Section 8 Before the expiration of f fteen {15) days after its passage, this
3 Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of
4 Supervisors voting for and against it in the ehico , a newspaper published in the
5 County of Butte, State of California.
6 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
7 26th day of October , 1999, by the following vote:
