5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3531 OF THE
6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

8 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
9 ORDAIN as follows:
10 Section 1 that Section 10 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
11 "070-001 TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR" is hereby amended by adding thereto the
12 following regular help position:
13 Positions Classification Title
1~ 0.6 Information Systems Analyst II (regular position to end 7/31/00)f
15 Thereby changing the total from 20 to 20.6.
16 Section 1 that Section 13 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
17 "100-001 COUNTY COUNSEL" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
1 s following:
19 Positions Classification Title
20 1 Supervising Legal Secretary
21 1 Off ce Assistant III, II, I
22 and adding thereto the following:

26 thereby leaving the total unchanged.
27 Section 2 that Section 21 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
28 "360-001 SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom

3 2 Accounting Specialist, Senior Account Clerk or Account Clerk
4 and adding thereto the following:

6 1 Administrative Services Assistant
7 1 Auditor-Accountant II, I
8 thereby leaving the total unchanged.
9 Section 3 that Section 21 of Ordinance No~ 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
10 "360-008 SHERIFF -- SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT UNIT" is hereby amending by
11 deleting therefrom the following:

13 1 Deputy Sheriff (term position due to end 6130/02)
14 And adding thereto the following:

16 1 Deputy Sheriff
17 thereby leaving the total unchanged.
18 Section 4 that Section 30 of Ordinance No,3552 of the County of Butte entitled
19 "430-001 PROBATION" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:

22 1 Probation Officer III
23 thereby changing the total from 77.75 to 79.75.
24 Section 5 that Section 47 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
25 "540-001. PUBLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by deleting
26 therefrom the following:

I This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 2S 123{f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen { 1 S) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of

5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
