Ordinance No. 3576
5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3552 OF THE
6 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

8 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
9 ORDAIN as follows:
10 Section 1 that Section No. 21 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte
11 entitled "360-OOl SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES" is hereby amended by adding
12 thereto the following:
13 Positions Classification Title
t4 1 Assistant Sheriff
15 thereby changing the total from 54 to 55.
16 Section 2 that Section No. 22 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte
17 entitled 360-002 "SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS" is hereby changed by adding
18 thereto the following:
19 Positions Classification Title
20 1 Assistant Sheriff
21 thereby changing the total from 76 to 77.
22 Section 3 that Section No. 23 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte
23 entitled "360-003 SHERIFF-CORONER -CORRECTIONS" is hereby amended by
24 adding thereto the following:
25 Positions Classification Title
26 1 Assistant Sheriff
27 thereby changing the total from 94 to 95.
28 Section 4 that Section 47 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Sutte entitled
1 "540-001 -PUBLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by
2 deleting therefrom the following:
3 Positions Classification Title
4 2 Public Health Assistant I (Term 9130199)
5 and adding thereto the following:
6 Positions Classification Title
7 2 Public Health Assistant I (Term 12/31/99)
s thereby leaving the total unchanged.
9 Section 5 that Section 51 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
10 "570-001 -WELFARE - ADMIMSTRATION" is hereby amended by deleting
11 therefrom the following:

13 2 Supervisor-Staff Support Services
14 1 Paralegal
15 and adding thereto the following:
16 Positions Classification Title

19 thereby leaving the total unchanged.
20 Section 6 that Section 21 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
21 "360-001 SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom
22 the following:

25 and adding thereto the following:

3 amended by deleting therefrom the following:

6 and adding thereto the following:

9 thereby leaving the total unchanged.
10 Section S that Section 47 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
11 "540-001 PUBLICHEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by deleting
12 therefrom the following:

16 and adding thereto the following:

24 the following:

27 And adding thereto the following:

4 Section 10 that Section S3 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled

9 thereby changing the total from 109 to 112.
10 Section 11 that Section 62 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
11 "720-001 ADNIINISTRATIVE -BUILDINGS & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE" is
12 hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
13 Positions Classification Title
14 1 Superintendent -Buildings and Grounds (term position to end
15 6/30100)
16 1 Administrative Services Assistant (term position to end 12124199}
17 thereby decreasing the total from 3 9 to 3 7.
~ S Section 12 that as no substantive changes are being made by this ordinance, and
19 that the changes made herein are intended to clarify amendments made by previously
20 adopted ordinances, namely ordinances 3553, 3557, 3558, 3559, and 3573, the changes
21 contained herein shall be retroactive as follows, based upon the effective dates of said
22 previously adopted ordinances:
23 Section 1 shall be retroactively effective to September 28, 1999;
24 Section 2 shall be retroactively effective to September 28 1999;
25 Section 3 shall be retroactively .effective to September 28, 1999;..........
26 Section 4 shall be retroactively effective to October I2, 1999;
27 Section S shall be retroactively effective to October 12, 1999;
28 Section 6 shall be retroactively effective to October 12, 1999;
1 Section 7 shall be retroactively effective to December 14, 1999;
2 Section S shall be retroactively effective to December 14, 1999;
3 Section 9 shall be retroactively effective to December 14, 1999;
4 Section 10 shall be retroactively effective to December 14, 1999; and
5 Section 11 shall be retroactively effective to December 14, 1999.

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123{f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15}days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 zs~h day of Januaxy , 2000, by the following vote:
