3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3 5 52 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1 that Section 67 of Ordinance No.3552 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE D -
10 MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL, AND SUPERVISORY UNIT
11 CLASSIFICATIONS" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
12 Classification Title Class Code Monthly Salary Range
13 Associate Surveyor 3141 $3,764 - $4,575
14 Assistant Surveyor 3140 $3,257 - $3,959
15 Section 2 that Section 15 of Ordinance No. 3552 ofthe County of Butte entitled
16 "181-001 PUBLIC WORKS -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by deleting
17 therefrom the following:
1 S Positions Classification Title
19 1 Civil Engineering -Assistant or Civil Engineering -Associate
20 and adding thereto the following:
21 Positions Classification Title
22 1 Associate Surveyor or Assistant Surveyor
23 thereby leaving the total unchanged at 1.
24 Section 3 that Section 43 of Ordinance No. 3552 of the County of Butte entitled
25 "530-004 PUBLIC WORKS -ENGINEERING & ADMIIriISTRATION" is .hereby
26 amended by deleting therefrom the following:

1 and adding thereto the following:

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(fj of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of f fteen (15} days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 sth day of February , 2000, by the following vote:
