AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3590 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES ORDAIN
as follows:
Section 1 that Section No. 68 of Ordinance No. 3590 of the County of Butte entitled
"REFERENCE G: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS REPORTING TO THE BUTTE
COUNTY SUPERIOR AND MUNICIPAL COURTS" is hereby deleted in its entirety.
Section 2 that Section No. 68 of Ordinance No. 3590 of the County of Butte entitled
"REFERENCE G: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS REPORTING TO THE BUTTE
COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT" is hereby added together with the following classification:

Section 3 that Section No. 68 of Ordinance No. 3590 of the County of Butte entitled
"REFERENCE H: APPOINTED OFFICIALS REPORTING TO THE BUTTE COUNTY
SUPERIOR AND MUNICIPAL COURTS" is hereby re-titled as "REFERENCE H:
APPOINTED OFFICIALS REPORTING TO THE BUTTE COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT".

This ordinance shall take effect retroactively as of April 1, 2000, pursuant to Section
25123(1} of the Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
Lath day of June , 2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Heeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
