AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3590 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, ordains as
follows:
Section 1. Section No. 68 of Ordinance No. 3590 of the County o£ Butke entitled
"REFERENCE A: APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the following:

Section 3. Section 1 of this ordinance pertaining to "REFERENCE A: APPOINTED
DEPARTMENT HEADS" shall take effect immediately, and Section 2 of this ordinance
pertaining to "REFERENCE B: ELECTED DEPARTMENT HEADS", shall take effect 30
days from the date of passage, pursuant to Section 25123 ofthe Government Code of the State
of California. Provided, however, the increased salaries enacted by this ordinance shall be
payable commencing duly 8, 2000.

The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed, before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, to publish this Ordinance once, with the names of the
members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it, in the Chico Enterprise-Record,
a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
27th day of June , 2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, ,Iosiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
NOES: Supervisor Boux
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
