3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3 613 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 63 of Ordinance No. 3613 of the County of Butte entitled "SALARY PLAN
9 FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE A: GENERAL UNIT CLASSIFICATIONS,
10 Effective:.Iuly 8, 2000" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom. the following:
11 Class Code Classification Title
12 2260 Plan Application Assistant
13 and adding thereto the following:
14 Class Code Classification Title Step 1 Step 5
15 2260 Plan Application Assistant I $11.57/hour $14.(}6Thour
16 2261 Plan Application Assistant II $12.14/hour $14.76/Yiour
17 Section 2. Section 32 of Ordinance Na. 3613 of the County of Butte entitled "440-
18 002 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES -BUILDING INSPECTION" is hereby amended
19 by deleting therefrom the following:
20 Positions Classification Title
21 3 Plan Application Assistant or Office Assistant III
22 and adding thereto the following:
23 Positions Classification Title
24 3 Plan Application Assistant II, I

25 thereby leaving the total unchanged at 23.
26 Section 3. Section 37 of Ordinance No. 3613 of the County of Butte entitled "480-
27 001 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES -PLANNING" is hereby amended by deleting
28 therefrom the following:

3 and adding thereto the following:

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123{f} of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of f fteen { 15}days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
