3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3659 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, ordains as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 64 of Ordinance No. 3659 of the County of Butte entitled"SALARY
8 PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE D: MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL,
9 AND SUPERVISORY UNIT CLASSIFICATIONS"is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
10 following:
11 CLASS CODE CLASSIFICATION TITLE
12 1215 LAFCo/Administrative Support Services Assistant
13 and adding thereto the following:
14 CLASS CODE CLASSIFICATION TITLE STEP 1 STEP 5
15 1215 LAFCo/Administrative Support Services $13.31 $16.18
16 Assistant(Effective 07-01-00)
17 Section 1. Section 38 of Ordinance No. 3659 of the County of Butte entitled"480-004
18 LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION (LAFCo)"is hereby deleted in its entirety.
19 Section 2. Section 38 of Ordinance No. 3659 of the County of Butte entitled"480-004
20 LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION (LAFCo), Effective: July 1, 2000" is hereby
21 added together with the following positions.
22 POSITIONS CLASSIFICATION TITLE
23 1 LAFCo Executive Officer
24 1 Senior Planner
25 1 LAFCo/Administrative Support Services Assistant
26 thereby making the total 3.
1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123 of the GovernmentCode
2 of the State of California, and before the expiration of fifteen(15)days after its passage, it shall be
3 published once,with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it,
4 in the Chico Enterprise-Record,a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 9th day of January , 2001, by the following vote:

8 AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
9 NOES: None
