3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3730 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS Tim "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 63 of Ordinance No. 3 ~ 30 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE C, GENERAL UNIT
l0 CLASSIFICATIONS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:

13 Section 2. Section b3 of Ordinance No. 3730 of the County of Butte entitled
14 "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE F, MANAGEMENT,
15 CONFIDENTIAL, AND SUPERVISORY UNIT CLASSIFICATIONS" is hereby
15 amended by adding thereto the following:

20 Section 3. Section 20 of Ordinance No. 3730 of the County of Butte
21 entitled "360-002 SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS" is hereby amended by
22 deleting therefrom the following:

24 1 Crime Prevention Coordinator
25 thereby decreasing the total from 78 to 77.

1 Section 4. Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3730 of the County of Butte entitled
2 "360-001 SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES" is hereby amended by adding thereto
3 the following:

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123{f) of the
2 Government Code ofthe State of California; and before expiration of f fteen (1 S} days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County ofButte this
6 12th day of June , 2001, by the following vote:
