3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3743 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 69 of Ordinance No. 3~~3 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN F4R ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFERENCE E,
10 APPOINTED OFFICIALS WITH BI-WEEKLY RANGE ASSIGNMENTS" is hereby
1 ~ amended by deleting therefrom the following:
12 Step 1 St~6 Class Code Classification Title
13 $1,987 $2,536 5000 Undersheriff (At-Will)
14 and adding thereto the following:
~ 5 Step I Step 6 Class Code Classification Title
16 $2,473 $3,156 5000 Undersheriff (At-Will)
].7 Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective on July 7, 2001.

1 The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed, before the
2 expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, to publish this ordinance in a newspaper
3 in the County of Butte, State of California.
4 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
5 25th day of June , 2001, by the following vote:
