3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3743 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 16 of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "090-001 PERSONNEL" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
10 Positions Classification Title
11 1 Director --Personnel
12 1 Assistant Director -Personnel
13 and adding thereto the following:
14 Positions Classif cation Title
1 S 1 Director -Human Resources
16 1 Assistant Director -Human Resources
17 thereby leaving the total unchanged at 12.
18 Section 2. Section 16 of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte
19 entitled "090-001 PERSONNEL" shall be re-titled "090-001 HUMAN RESOURCES".
20 Section 3. Section 6$ of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte
21 entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE F,
22 MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL, AND SUPERVISORY UNIT
23 CLASSIFICATIONS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:

5 APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
6 following:

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen {15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 26th day of June , 2001, by the following vote:
