3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3 743 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE F, MANAGEMENT,
10 CONFIDENTIAL, AND SUPERVISORY UNIT" is hereby amended by deleting
11 therefrom the following:

5 Section 2. Section 56 of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte entitled
6 "570-008 WELFARE -PUBLIC GUARDIAN" is hereby amended by deleting
7 therefrom the following:

16 Section 3. The changes made in Section 2 of this ordinance shall be and are
17 hereby made retroactive to July 1, 2000, and shall be operative as of that date.

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
