3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.3 743 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 55 of Ordinance No. 3743 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "570-006 WELFARE - Ca1WORKs" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
l o following:

t2 ~2 Social Worker III, II
13 thereby decreasing the total from 75 to 73.
14 Section 2. Section 54 of Ordinance :No. 3743 of the County of Butte entitled
15 "570-004 WELFARE -- SERVICES" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:

18 thereby increasing the total from 114 to 116.

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f} of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen {15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
