3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3770 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
S Section 1. Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3770 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" is hereby amended by adding thereto
10 the following:
11 Positions Classification Title
12 .5 Deputy District Attorney IV, III, II, I
13 {position to end 06-30-04)
14 thereby increasing the total from 73.5 to 74.
15 Section 2. Section 25 of Ordinance No. 3770 of the County of Butte entitled
16 "360-003 SHERIFF-CORONER -CORRECTIONS" is hereby amended by adding
17 thereto the following:
18 Positions Classification Title
19 2 Deputy Sheriff (position to end 06-30-04)
20 1 Administrative Services Assistant {position to end 06-30-04)
21 thereby increasing the total from 94 to 97.
22 Section 3. Section 31 of Ordinance No. 3770 of the County of Butte entitled
23 "430-001 PROBATION" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
24 Positions Classification Title
25 2 Probation Off cer III, II, I (position to end 06-30-04)
26 thereby increasing the total from 101.25 to 103.25.

1 Section 4. Section 49 of Qrdinance No. 3 ~ ~ o of the County of Butte entitled
2 "541-001 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by
3 adding thereto the following:

1 This ordinance shall take effect immediately pursuant to Section 25123(f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen (15) days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
