3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3770 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN. AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

6 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 49 of Ordinance No. 3770 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "541-001 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH- GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby amended by
10 adding thereto the following:
11 Positions Classification Title
12 1 Mental Health Clinician II, I (position to end 06-30-04)
13 1 Senior Mental Health Counselor, Mental Health Counselor, or
14 Mental Health Worker (position to end 06-30-04)
15 thereby increasing the total from 321.5 to 323.5.
16 Section 2. Section 50 of Ordinance No. 3770 of the County of Butte entitled
17 "541-002 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES" is hereby
18 amended by adding thereto the following:
19 Positions Classification Title
2a 1 Supervising Health Education Specialist
21 (position to end 06-30-04)
22 2 Health Education Specialist II {position to end 06-30-04)
23 thereby increasing the total from 29 to 32.

1 This ordinance sha11 take effect immediately pursuant to Section 251.23{f) of the
2 Government Code of the State of California; and before expiration of fifteen { 1 S} days
3 after its passage, it shall be published in a newspaper in the County of Butte, State of
4 California.
5 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
6 loth day of November , 2001, by the following vote:

8 AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Jasiassen
9 NOES: Nome
