3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.3807 OF THE
4 COUNTY OF BUTTE. KNOWN AS_THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"

5 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, DOES
7 ORDAIN as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 71 of Ordinance No. 3807 of the County of Butte entitled
9 "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS, REFERENCE B,
10 ELECTED OFFICERS" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following:
11 Annual Salary Class Code Classification Title

26 Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from the date of passage,
27 pursuant to Section 25123 of the Government Code of the State of California. However,
28 the increased salaries enacted by this ordinance shall be and hereby made retroactive to
July 6, 2002, and shall be operative as of that date.
i The Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed, before the
2 expiration of f fteen (1 S}days after its passage, to publish this ordinance in a newspaper
3 in the County of Butte, State of California.
