4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
5 OF BUTTE AUTHORIZING THE REDEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN
6 TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE BY THE CITY OF GRIDLEY
7 AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRIDLEY
S AND APPROVING THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
9 GRIDLEY REDEVELOPMENT PROTECT

11 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3825, an Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the
12 County of Butte Authorizing the Redevelopment of Certain Territory of the County of
13 Butte by the City of Gridley and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Gridley and
14 Approving the Redevelopment Plan for the Gridley Redevelopment Project, was adopted
15 by the Board of Supervisors on the 23`d day of 3uly, 2002; and
16 WHERAS, said ordinance authorized redevelopment of certain area within the
17 territorial limits of the County of Butte which is contiguous to certain area within the
18 territorial limits of the City of Gridley; and
19 WHEREAS, said ordinance approved the Redevelopment Plan for the Gridley
20 Redevelopment Project which includes the county area; and
2I WHEREAS, said ordinance adopted Findings and Statement of Facts, Statement of ''
22 Overriding Considerations, and Mitigation Monitoring Program related to the Final
23 Program Environmental Impact Report (the "Final EIR"} for the redevelopment project;
24 and
25 WHEREAS, Section 7 of said ordinance authorized and directed the Clerk of the
26 Board to file a Notice of Determination on the Environmental Impact Report which was
27 subsequently determined to apply to actions taken by the City of Gridley and Gridley
28 Redevelopment Agency and therefore not required to be filed by the Clerk of the Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 3825, an Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte Authorizing the Redevelopment of Certain Territory of the County of
Butte by the City of Gridley and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Gridley and
Approving the Redevelopment Plan fox the Gridley Redevelopment Project, as adopted by
the Board of Supervisors on the 23`d day of July, 2002, shall be amended to delete Section
7 from said ordinance in its entirety.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption and,
before the expiration of ffteen (15) days after its passage, shall be published once with the
names of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Gridley
Herald , a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Butte.

by the following vote:
